RAISIN CITY, Fresno County — October 28, 2026. Residents interested in local streetlighting and public-service spending can now find a collection of county special-district financial records in one place. Fresno County maintains an online directory for County Service Area 43 (Raisin City and Lighting District), with budgets, quarterly reports, vicinity maps and community advisory committee records.
Which records are available?
The county’s public directory currently links to draft minutes from the January 29, 2026 Community Advisory Committee meeting, as well as minutes from meetings held in 2025. It also lists the 2025–26 and 2024–25 budgets, separate first- and second-quarter expense and revenue reports for 2025–26, and older financial archives. A draft meeting record should not be described as officially adopted minutes unless the district confirms adoption.
What can residents learn?
Special districts provide particular services to defined areas and maintain accounts that may be separate from a county’s General Fund. Reviewing a district’s financial reports can help residents understand budgeted operating costs, recurring revenue and how planned work is tracked. The presence of an accounting entry does not by itself prove that a rate was increased, that a streetlight has been installed, or that a contractor has been paid.
How to request additional information
Open the official County Service Area 43 page and select the meeting minutes, budgets or quarterly reports. Residents can also ask the county’s Special Districts Administration for meeting schedules, an updated fiscal-year budget, and an explanation of any specific service assessment on a property-tax bill.
For general county assistance, Fresno County lists (559) 600-5956. This article is a public-records and accountability guide, not an announcement of a newly adopted streetlight charge. It was reviewed October 28, 2026.
